Quand "Le Petit Prince" va au Rwanda

Quand j’étais au Rwanda en septembre, j’étais impressionné par le travail d’une petite association appelée « Bookmobile ». Elle veut donner aux enfants le goût de la lecture. Mais ils manquent de livres. Je leur avais promis l’achat de 25 exemplaires du « Petit Prince » de Saint-Exupéry. C’est fait. Rien ne vous empêche de leur envoyer des livres aussi. Rwanda Bookmobile is operating a pilot project with certain schools in Kigali to share access to our growing collection of books in Kinyarwanda, English and French. We are also active on weekends and holidays bringing our mobile reading room / library to community functions, education focused events and to celebrate national holidays. We believe that reading is a vital skill for everyone. We also believe that having access to a variety of books and teachers and storytellers that capture a child’s imagination creates the opportunity for that child to acquire more than a skill but to begin a lifelong love of reading.
